After downloading the software run it as administrator by right clicking the software icon and select "Runs as administrator" and the window appears thus below.
You then need to create an account through the software to use it.
So click on Menu >> Preference >> Click on Sign on for a free account.
Fill the form appropriately and your account will be created.
After signing up, visit the website. Click here to login in order to make your account verified.
Then come back to the software and configure it as shown below.
SETTINGS
Click on Menu >> Preference >> On the login tab, enter your username and password correctly.
Click on the Network tab, Select the radio button 10.0.0.0 and check the Set default gateway to Wi-free server o connect and Use Wi-free DNS server for Ordinary DNS lookups boxes.
Click on the Port tab and check all the port numbers
Uncheck the "Enable Parent Proxy" check box if it is checked.
Click the "Server" tab and select any of your preferred servers.
Click the "Message" tab and check all the check boxes.
Click the "Other" tab and check the two middle check boxes.
Click OK
On the main window interface, click on UDP
Click START and you are ready to go.
But before
clicking on START, make sure you have subscribed to MTN BIS and have
connected your modem. To do that simply follow these
First, you will have to subscribe to MTN BB plan
MTN BB Weekly --- Recharge N500 and text BBC WEEK to 21600
MTN BB Monthly --- Recharge N1500 and text BBC to 21600.
Then create a new MTN profile in your modem like this
Click on Tools >> Options >> Profile Management >> New
Profile Name: MTN Blackberry
APN: blackberry.net
Username: web
Password: web
Click Advance Tab, select Static and input this 10.199.212.2 into the IP address box
Click OK, select the MTN Blackberry profile and connect your modem.

Then connect the WI-FREE VPN software by clicking START and then you are good to go.
Set you browser and applications to NO PROXY. Happy browsing.
To set you browser to NO PROXY. Follow these steps
Firefox:
Go to Tools > Options > Advance > Settings >
Set to “NO PROXY”
Internet Explorer:
Go to Tools > Internet Options > Connections > >
In “Proxy server” section, Uncheck “Use a proxy server for your LAN”

For
Multilinks you don't have to subscribe to any data plan. If you already
have the modem good, but if you don't have you can go to any multilinks
office near you to purchase one. Its about #4000 or so. Below is how to
install the modem.
STEPS TO FOLLOW WHEN INSTALLING MULTILINKS BLUE BROADBAND ON WIN 7 & WIN 8:
> Insert the modem into your computer or use the auto run feature
> A dialog box will pop up asking you to install the software, click to install
> While trying to install it, make sure you Uncheck the Install Modem Driver options
> This will enable you install only the Multilinks Blue 900 main APP
> Now insert the CD that came with your modem
> A widow will pop up asking you to install, click on start CD to install the appropriate drivers
> However after installing the driver,
you will notice that when you launch the application, the
network signal will appear. All that is left is for you to configure your modem with the
relevant username, password and service number. All other things being
equal, your modem will get connected.
HOW TO CONNECT YOUR MULTILINKS MODEM TO THE INTERNET WITHOUT SUBSCRIPTION
This section is for those are for those who finds it difficult to
configure there multilink modem to connect to the internet without
loading credit or subscribing to any multilinks data plan... First you
must install your
modem (as normal) then open the window interface, click on settings and input the following
>Username = 7099038916@bluebroadband.com
(note that the front numbers varies from modem to modem. to determine
yours check the back of your modem pack to know yours)
>>> Password = 1234 (this is default for all modems)
>>> Service number = #777 save and exit and you are done. Hurray
connect your modem will connect without subscription.
Connect your modem and just follow this procedure.

Instructions:
Win 7 users must execute the installer on run as admin ( right click on icon and choose run as admin).
During its first run, it will ask for a driver install, just press yes.
Input your username and password on its proper field.
Set proper protocol for your area and press connect.
Once it connects the software will minimize to system tray and is ready to use.
Always make sure that you have typed correctly your account details ie (you username and password).
Always be sure the program has administrative privileges when using Vista/7.
Always be sure you have an active internet connection.
Always be sure to always run as admin during use. ( or you can set
on it by right clicking the icon, select Properties > Compatibility> Then Check always run as administrator ).
Ensure to turn off your Windows Firewall and Antivirus as they can hamper your connection
